Jane Austen

I really liked how the photo came out of my hair done up, the tones were really nice. So I'm thinking about focusing on doing girls hair up in different victorian/19th century hair does. I sent Mougel an email asking if I could print on the pages of books, so if I can I want to print my images on the pages of Jane Austen books.

  1. Definitely you can print on pages in a book... also consider McCall dress patterns.

  2. I really like that idea a lot. I think I'll experiment with both before I make up my mind. :)

  3. Are they going to be staged photos or portraits just focusing on the hair? It'd be cool if you chose pages with some relevance to the photos, maybe a scene or action that you can portray through the photo.

  4. With the way you plan on presenting these, I kinda imagine them being just straight shoulder-up portraits overlaying the text. I think that since you have the element of the writing, I would avoid clustering the background. Outside of that concern, I'm excited to see where you take this idea. I think it definitely works well with this process.

  5. This is a really pretty idea. And after seeing your test prints today I think it will look really nice with how david said, shoulder and up portraits.

Will you be presenting them in book form as well?
