Nature

I've finally got my idea all ironed out and such.

I have pictures of nature and wildlife that I had originally wanted to use on this thin paper, which of course I never remember what it's called, but it's not working out the way I had hoped. What is neat however is that while going through the developing process, my paper kept attaching itself to other people's prints and it actually looked really neat because of my papers fibers. My idea now is to print on the normal paper and then cover the picture with the paper I originally wanted to print on (this explanation would be better if I knew what either of the types of paper are called). You will still be able to see the image because all you can see of the funky paper is the fibers and it gives it a neat texture I think works well with the images of nature. I don't have any pictures to show you of how it looks because I'm a bit behind, but on Friday during class I should be able get back on track and make progress with the assignment.

  2. I definitely agree with the textured paper you had looking cool over the arches platine..I was wondering how it'd look just to be layered and not printed on the fiber paper. But it is a good idea to use it in that way, I think it'll look very organic.
